Transhumanta [Transhumance] - From the Roots to Urban Culture

The origin of ’transhumance’ is deeply embodied in the life and spirit of the Balkan people. It's a way of life which we are trying to bring back, but in a modern form. In this sprit, the transhumance EP is an offering to our ancestors.

Music is one of the most efficient ways of connecting with young people. By directing them, to the source of our traditional music, the ancient rhythms and tempos, we are mixing the present with the past, the west with the east, the old with the new.

‘Amphep Ram On’ is a kind of bounding cultural substance between the past and the future, one which reconnects the newer generations with their forgotten origins.
